This was my first visit to First Watch but won't be my last! The fruity beverage special was a delightful way to start, followed by savory, hot egg dishes.
Returned for a second time with a friend. She ordered the exact same meal: quina bowl with chicken. I had pumpkin pancakes, two over-easy eggs and chicken sausage with a side of oj.
I left well-satisfied! My friend took leftovers and was happy with her choices! -

I really enjoyed the experience, but it was not totally a perfect score. What I loved was that it's friendly for anyone who has kids or family, and it is able to accommodate every palate! There are many, many options on their menu. As someone who is a little fixated on eating "healthy", I would love to see more super-healthy options. All the food is relatively healthy, but the calorie counts being upward of 900 calories in a lot of situations is a little scary.
The service was okay, but a little slow. Especially true when you are asking for a little extra time to see the menu...they seemed to give us an exponentially long time to study the menu -- too long. But, they delivered the food super fast, so that was a good balance.
The glass of tea I was drinking wasn't refilled until well after I finished. The food I tried was decent, but nothing crazily amazing...then again, I ordered "healthy"!
If you love breakfast/brunch, this place is good and it's affordable, but be sure you have ample time to find parking (it gets packed and parking can be absent for periods of time) and do not expect a "quiet" atmosphere -- this is a place for kids and adults to be relaxed.
Recommendation: I loved the tomato basil soup. -

My first visit and easily became a fan! Food is amazing...big menu for breakfast and lunch. Healthy choices but some serious calorie dishes. Nice quite ambience with plenty of elbow room.
Wait staff was prompt and professional despite being busy. Nice touch putting a bottle of water on the table as I hate to have to wait for water refills.
I had the Ham and Gruyere cheese melt. It was fantastic! Side salad of field greens in light lemon dressing. Also had the tomato basil soup. Yum! Thick and rich, very tasty.
My buddy ordered the roast beef and havarti cheese. Excellent according to him with a tang of horseradish in the cheese.
Soda refills were timely as well as an offer for one to go. I'll be back! -

This is for sure one of my new favorite brunch spots!
For starters, the menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable (considering brunch is more on the expensive side these days). I appreciate that most meals come with turkey as the main meat or options of turkey or chicken sausage patties. I also appreciate how egg whites are served with a lot of the menu options.
Service was great and food came out promptly. We got the Tri-Athlete and the Traditional Breakfast with egg whites and chicken sausage patties. There could've been a bit more seasoning on the food, but it still tasted really good! The portions are also very generous.
I was very pleased with our visit, and we will definitely be back! -

I drove home to visit my family in Houston for the weekend so I started my morning by meeting my cousin for Breakfast. This was our first visit so we were both excited to try this place. We had an amazing waitress who went over the menu and drink options with us. I can't remember her name but I think her name is Yesmina.
While looking over the menu, our waitress brought us a few of their juice options to sample. They were all delicious.
After looking over the menu, I decided to get The Works Omelette with toast and seasoned potatoes.
My cousin ordered the Crab Omelette with toast and grits. I sampled my cousin's grits and her omelette. Everything was delicious and definitely more food than we could eat.
The place fills up pretty quick so if you plan on coming on the weekend, I would come early.
I am planning on coming here very soon when I go back to Houston to visit my family. Excellent food,
customer service and reasonably priced.
